On Tuesday, 30th July 2002, Mr B K Wong, the Founding Member and 1st President of Singapore Lift & Escalator Contractors and Manufacturers Association launched the website, www.slecma.org.sg witnessed by about 70 members staff and invited guests at the Singapore Orchid Country Club. Mr Alex Fong, President of Malaysian Lift & Escalator Association (MALEA) with some MALEA members, some local prominent Architects,Consulting Engineers, Developers and Contractors were present.
